My hair routine usually consists of throwing my head upside down, quick blast with the hairdryer for 10mins, a generous ruffle, and away I go. For special occasions, or just for a little boost, I treat myself to a blow dry. My hair dries polka straight naturally, so to get curls and bounce is a real skill, which I’m yet to master⌠In steps The Bardou.
Love a blow dry too? Well, if you havenât heard of The Bardou already, itâs definitely time now. Their unique concept of âpop up anywhere, at anytimeâ pop-up salons means they’re bringing us the most beautiful blow dries and the best experiences in the most sought-after locations.
Endorsed by celebrity hairdresser Adee Phelan (remember The Salon reality show? SO good!) â he’s planning to expand the concept across the UK and Europe, and has just recently opened a salon in Marbella.
Note for your diaries: Are you free next weekend, 2nd April? Their is a special event to attend, and everyone’s invited!
Their newest pop-up salon is in London’s latest hotspot, private members club, The Library. Access to the club is complimentary when you book a Bardou service, so make sure you go and check it out soon â as with the glory of pop-ups, it won’t be around for long…
Fancy attending their exclusive Blow Dry Brunch on 2nd April? Tickets start from ÂŁ15, which includes a delicious 2-course brunch, a glass of bubbles, and a Bardou blow dry â a perfect way to set you up for the weekend.
If you can’t get to London, I have good news for you too: The Bardou offers some great tips, tricks and product advice online to create their signature looks from the luxury of your own home.
Also showing The Bardou love; Grazia magazine recently featured their how-to: ‘Achieve SS16 worthy hair at home with Bardou’ (Kendall Jenner’s Studio 54 look is my absolute fave) and are offering 20% discount on Bardou products (use promo code Grazia20 at checkout). Happy days.
The Bardou first came onto my radar when I visited their Kensington High Street pop-up last year (where their lovely stylist, Victoria, looked after me â she’s a dream). I discovered their amazing product range, array of different looks (so many blow dries to try!) and the story behind the brand.
My experience at the Kensington pop-up
I sipped delicious Nespresso coffee and admired the super chic surroundings while Victoria got to work on ‘The Vavavoom’ blow dry for me. I absolutely loved my hair, and my mood was ignited by Victoria’s passion for all things hair (and mutual love of coffee). You can follow more of Victoria’s hair styles / creations over on Instagram too.
And I definitely want my home to look like this…
Vavavoomed… I officially got Bardoued!
Bardou fact: Victoria told me whilst washing my hair: âTo come up with the name, The Bardou, we took inspiration from the French actress, Brigitte Bardot, for her iconic look and hairstyles.”
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate Brigitte Bardot.
More goodness, loyalty loveliness:Â If you book three blow dries, you get a fourth free…
In addition to their blow dries, The Bardou also offers up-doâs, hair extensions and beauty services too. Ultimately, it’s the one-stop destination for red carpet glamour.
Question is, which look will you choose?
Get Bardoued yourself: Book an appointment via their website www.thebardou.com or call on 0203 793 7135.
I’m heading to The Library pop-up salon and the Quintessentially Wedding Show (The Bardou are its official partners) next weekend â I promise to keep you posted!
Love,
